Update on Registry Prices for .BIZ, .NET and .ORG

As mentioned in our previous mail, there is going to be an increase in the Registry pricing for .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .INFO and .NAME Domains. However, we have some good news for you!

Update on pricing of.NET Domains:

We’ve got an amazing offer on .NET Domains, starting 29th June, 2013, 00:00 UTC, you can register .NET Domains at a promotional price of just ~~9.99~~ $7.49. This promo will end on 31st July, 2013.

The revised regular pricing based on your current slab will be $8.59. This price will be applicable on Renewals and Transfer-ins.

Update on pricing of.ORG Domains:

The good news doesn’t end here. Despite the price hike, we’ve managed to keep the .ORG price under check by continuing our ongoing promotion, that gives you .ORG Domains at industry best pricing.

Post the price hike on .ORG Domains, starting 29th June, 00:00 UTC new .ORG Registrations will be available at a revised promo price of $5.49. This promotion will end on 31st July, 2013.

The revised regular pricing based on your current slab will be $9.19. This price will be applicable on Renewals and Transfer-ins.

The revised slab based pricing will go live and existing promotion on .ORG Domain names will end on 28th June, 2013 at 12:30 UTC

Update on pricing of.BIZ Domain:

We’re delighted to announce that from 18th June, 2013, you will be able to register your favorite .BIZ Domains at a further reduced promo price of just $2.99! That’s over 70% discount on the regular price! Make the most of this limited period opportunity and register as many .BIZ Domains as you like! This promo will end on 31st July, 2013.

The existing promotion on .BIZ Domain names will end on 17th June, 2013 at 12:30 UTC.

Change in Privacy Protect service:

Due to the forthcoming change in ICANN’s policy, the overhead costs of providing the Privacy Protect service will increase substantially. Starting soon, we will be charging an annual fee of $3 per domain name for our Privacy Protect service. With most Providers in the market charging as high as $6 per year, you could offer this as a chargeable service and still earn a profit on it!

Please Note:

For domain names that are already registered and use Privacy Protect service, no charge shall be levied till the domain name expires, or until the next renewal, whichever is earlier. At the time of renewal of the domain name, you will have the flexibility of not renewing Privacy Protect along with the domain name.
For domains names that are already registered and do not use Privacy Protect service, upon activation of this service, charges shall be applied on a pro-rata basis till the domain expires.
For any new domain registrations opting for Privacy Protection service, above mentioned annual charges will be applicable.
The duration of this service will be the same as the duration of the domain name it is associated with.
